26 weeks already!

Its so hard to believe but Im already 26 weeks along and time is beginning to pass a little more quickly now. I was very excited to reach 24 weeks and viability, I feel a bit more relaxed now though other recent events have put me back on pins and needles. My good friend Kim who was throwing my baby shower, had her baby shower on the 18th of January. I went and she looked and felt great. That night her water broke and she went into labor at a little over 34 weeks along. She had her beautiful son, Gabriel Alexander the next day, he weighed in at 4 lbs 5 oz. He is doing well but still hasnt made it home yet. Its a little scary thinking about that possibility and no matter how much I dont like being pregnant right now, I dont want to go that early either.

On that note, Im still feeling better and (knock on wood) havent been sick in a while. Ive had a few episodes of nausea and been pretty close to being sick but thankfully it hasnt happend. It looks like Ive traded in the nausea/vomiting for aches and pains. My hips, knees and lower back have been hurting pretty badly the past 2 weeks or so. Sleeping has been a misery, tossing and turning all night and unable to sleep quite a bit. The baby is hitting and kicking like a boxing champ, Im not sure if my insides will ever be the same again! Below are my belly pictures from both 24 and 26 weeks. Im still amazed at how I manage to get bigger each 2 weeks, even if its just a little bit.
