It has been a crazy 2 weeks! The closer we get to Christmas, the scarier my schedule begins to look. As I mentioned before, I am a room mom for Jackson's class and his teacher along with the rest of the 1st grade classes at his school are planning a TON of Christmas related activities, crafts, etc. Another mom and I are in charge of planning their Christmas (excuse me, holiday) party, the activities, food, everything. Ive already gone shopping for all their crafts yesterday and will be in and out of the classroom several times a week from now until their last day of school before break, December 19th. It will be fun and hopefully make the time fly!
I went in for my regular monthly appointment with my OBGYN on Thursday. I have gained 4 pounds in the past month, had gained 2 the month before that so thanks to my lovely morning sickness I still at a weight deficit of 4 pounds. Though its not gone totally, its much more manageable now. Im still taking one Zofran pill at night since it covers me for 12 hours through my worst times (night and early morning). Im also now taking an antacid twice a day that has made a huge difference for me. I can now drink orange juice which I have been craving and eat a bit more adventurous foods than I was. Im still going easy though. In the past 2 days the baby has decided to make its existence known to us by an amazing amount of rolling around and yesterday, kicking/punching my stomach and pushing out. I was finally able to feel the baby on the outside of my stomach and Todd even got to feel it. Though it would be difficult to not believe all this was happening before, feeling the baby kicking and pushing around makes it seem so real finally! My DR has scheduled me for my 20 week ultrasound on December 16th where we are hopeful to confirm we are having a girl and that the baby's organs are growing and functioning normally. Im looking forward to that appointment. Below is my 18 week photo, as you can see my stomach is further out still and seems to be a little lower now.
You look very preg. I am so glad the baby is

Wow! I can't believe you are only a week ahead of me. Your baby is practically dancing for you. And look at the belly! So big and so cute. My baby is just starting to make itself known. And, my belly still looks like a big ball of flab. LOL You look great!
