To DIY or not to DIY

So things have really slowed down. We are completely burned out on yard work or more to the point, we are burned out on home improvement of any kind. We came on strong but died out fast. Lack of bankroll was partially to blame but that quickly became an excuse. Its hard to work 40 hour weeks then come home and put in countless more hours on the weekends. Sadly, I was almost excited to go to work on Monday. The great house project binder is still sitting full of ideas just waiting to come to fuition. Im now looking forward to fall and winter for the first time in my life, I want to start tackling the myriad of projects I have planned without having to feel guilty about wasting time I could be spending in the yard. I have begun to feel slightly envious of people who are moving into turn key houses. I bet they have lazy weekends and their savings are still somewhat in tact. Live and learn!
